Personal Data Processing Policy

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. This Personal Data Processing Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Policy”) has been developed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” No. 2297-VI and other applicable regulatory legal acts of Ukraine.

1.2. The controller of the personal data processed through the “Student Sports Map” website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) is the Website Administration.

1.3. By using the Website or sending emails to the Administration’s contact addresses, the user fully agrees to the terms of this Data Policy.

  1. TYPES AND METHODS OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

2.1. The Website Administration may process the following categories of data:

Data voluntarily provided by the user: in the event of submitting a request (via email) regarding the removal or correction of information about an HEI, or with other inquiries, the following data may be processed: name (surname), email address, telephone number (if provided), and any other information that the applicant voluntarily includes in the request.

Technical (anonymized) data: data automatically transmitted while browsing the Website through software tools (IP address, cookies, internet browser parameters and settings, operating system, geographic location, information regarding interaction with the Website interface).

  1. PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

3.1. Personal data of users and representatives of HEIs are processed for the following purposes:

Providing feedback, processing inquiries, complaints, suggestions, or requests for the modification/removal of information about higher education institutions;

Analyzing the Website audience, improving its interface, usability, and optimizing the operation of the interactive map;

Preventing technical failures, cyberattacks, and ensuring the overall security of the resource.

  1. DATA RETENTION PERIOD AND CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO DATA

4.1. Personal data shall be processed and stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes defined in this Data Policy, but no longer than required under the applicable legislation of Ukraine.

4.2. The Website Administration does not sell, rent, or transfer users’ personal data to third parties without the consent of the data subject, except where such an obligation arises pursuant to a lawful request from judicial or law enforcement authorities of Ukraine.

  1. RIGHTS OF PERSONAL DATA SUBJECTS

5.1. Each user (personal data subject), in accordance with the applicable legislation of Ukraine, has the right to:

Know the sources of collection, location of their personal data, and the purpose of its processing;

Submit a reasoned request for the modification or destruction (deletion) of their personal data if such data is processed unlawfully or is inaccurate;

Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data if such consent was previously provided;

Contact the Website Administration with a request to delete or update information via the official email address: info@presidentfund.gov.ua 

  1. DATA PROTECTION

6.1. The Website Administration takes the necessary organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from accidental loss, destruction, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure by third parties.
