Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs
Mass participation sports and athletic activities at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are conducted in accordance with Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 50, dated January 26, 2016, “On Approval of the Regulations on the Organization of In-Service Training for Employees of the National Police of Ukraine,” and Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 51, dated January 21, 2020, “On Approval of Amendments to the Regulations on the Organization of In-Service Training for Employees of the National Police of Ukraine.”
Mass physical culture and sports events, along with sports club sessions across various disciplines, are held to engage cadets, students, full-time master’s students, and university staff in regular physical exercise, thereby improving their physical fitness levels, athletic mastery, and recreational leisure.
The organization of sports and athletic events at the university is carried out based on the relevant regulatory legal acts governing this line of activity, as well as in accordance with calendar plans, regulations, and competition rules for specific sports.
Students and trainees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs regularly participate in competitions at various levels and are winners and medalists of World Championships and World Cups, as well as Championships and Cups of Ukraine, in sports such as Sambo wrestling, kickboxing, kettlebell lifting, boxing, hand-to-hand combat, MMA, French boxing (Savate), table tennis, Muay Thai (Thai boxing), football, and futsal.
