Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National Economic University
Physical education and sports receive significant emphasis at the university, driven by diverse athletic events engaging higher education students, faculty members, and staff of Simon Kuznets KhNUE. Due to the enforcement of martial law, all classes and training sessions are temporarily conducted online (utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous modes).
Within the framework of vocational orientation, volunteering initiatives, and the cultivation of a motivational-value attitude toward physical culture and regular exercise, the faculty of the Department of Healthy Lifestyle, Technologies, and Health and Safety, alongside university students, actively partnered in the following events:
Kharkiv School Sports Leagues 2025 (Chess Stage): On April 4, 2025, Simon Kuznets KhNUE proudly launched and hosted the chess stage of the “Kharkiv School Sports Leagues” 2025. The opening ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including Valeriy Shepel, Deputy Director of the Department of Education of the Kharkiv City Council, and Viktor Kvashyn, President of the Kharkiv Region Chess Federation. The tournament’s Chief Arbiter was Yelyzaveta Petrosyants, Vice President of the Kharkiv Region Chess Federation and Head of the Board of Arbiters. Simon Kuznets KhNUE takes immense pride in supporting young athletes and fostering events that temper future leaders.
Kharkiv School Sports Leagues 2025 (Table Tennis Finals): On April 25, 2025, the final matches of the table tennis stage within the “Kharkiv School Sports Leagues” 2025 took place.
