Ukrainian National Forestry University

The university features the “Lisote khnik” Sports Club public organization, which serves as an operational model for physical education development. Its primary task is engaging student youth, university staff, and their family members in systematic physical education and sports sessions, as well as organizing or participating in mass sports events on a voluntary public basis.

The university has established optimal conditions for conducting educational, training, and wellness activities for students, postgraduates, scientific-pedagogical staff, and employees. The institution operates the following athletic facilities: track and field, basketball, and volleyball sectors, alongside the football pitch of the university stadium, indoor sports halls, a chess club, a gymnastics campus, fitness spaces, a body conditioning gym, a modern specialized judo hall, and sports rooms in the dormitories.

The educational and training process is structured around the functioning of sports clubs classified by discipline. First-year students take the mandatory academic discipline “Physical Education,” while more than 300 students, postgraduates, lecturers, and employees have the opportunity to improve their fitness and enhance wellness within sports sections and clubs dedicated to basketball, judo, kendo martial arts, weightlifting, volleyball, track and field, table tennis, football, and chess. Targeted work is continuously carried out to establish a healthy lifestyle and physically condition the youth.

The “Lisote khnik” Sports Club and physical education lecturers regularly organize meet-and-greets with famous athletes and leading physical culture experts, alongside hosting debates addressing the issues of physical culture and sports. All sports events conducted at the university, as well as their outcomes, are systematically highlighted on the university website and across social media networks
