Odesa Polytechnic National University

Student-athletes of our university train within sections for kettlebell lifting, basketball, volleyball, boxing, kickboxing, freestyle wrestling, grappling, judo, karate, table tennis, rifle shooting, tourism, football, and chess. They participate in competitions across all levels: from regional student sports games to all-Ukrainian, European, and world championships.

Our student-athletes secured podium finishes at the European Karate Championship among adults, juniors, cadets, and cadets-minors. Students from the “Romantyk” sports tourism club competed in the Championship of Ukraine in mountain tourism techniques. In 2025, a female student from our university captured two first-place titles at the European Grappling Championship and claimed a silver medal at the World MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Championship among adults. Additionally, a student from our university won a bronze medal at the World Youth Sambo Championship held in Indonesia, while another student secured 2nd place in rifle shooting at the European Championship held in Osijek, Croatia.
