Polissia National University

The history of the department dates back to 1955. Today, it stands as a hub for physical and pre-military training, featuring 10 active sports clubs that cater to over 250 students. The annual university-wide and freshman spartakiads (intramural games) serve as the heartbeat of the institution’s athletic life.

The higher education institution takes immense pride in its alumni, who include participants of the Beijing and London Olympic Games, as well as a competitor in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Among its graduates are 15 Masters of Sports of International Class and 68 Masters of Sports. The athletic life of the university not only tempers champions but also nurtures a new generation of resilient and strong-willed Ukrainian youth.
