Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University

Athletic life at Kherson State Agricultural and Economic University is steeped in great traditions. Over the years, the university has educated many elite athletes, including Olympic contestants, champions and medalists of world and continental championships, and champions of Ukraine across various sports.

Currently, the university’s student roster includes 1 Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, 4 Masters of Sports of International Class, 19 Masters of Sports of Ukraine, and 22 Candidates for Master of Sports. These athletes specialize in disciplines such as rowing, football, hand-to-hand combat, cycling, volleyball, basketball, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, grappling, rifle shooting, hockey, kung fu, weightlifting, and freestyle wrestling.

To expand this success, the university has opened a specialized degree program, “Physical Culture and Sports,” designed to train high-caliber specialists in the field. A significant number of education seekers are actively involved in systematic sports activities and regularly represent the university in regional and intercollegiate competitions.
