State Non-Profit Enterprise “State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute”
Our sports complex is envisioned to become a hub for university sports in Ukraine, hosting within its walls not only training sessions and competitions but also a diverse range of athletic lectures, seminars, conferences, and media events.
Our ultimate goal is to advance toward the financial independence of “Aviator” and to commercialize all our projects and initiatives. Concurrently, we aim to deliver additional value to KAI students, who will be able to engage in our projects completely free of charge.
On December 20, 2000, the Center for Sports and Health was established as a structural division of the University, built upon the foundation of the Sports Club and the Sports Complex.
In the summer of 2024, “Aviator” reorganized into a sports club. This structural transition opened up numerous opportunities and will allow us to leverage significantly more tools to attract sponsors and partners to our projects, ensuring everything is executed at a top-tier level. In September 2024, “Aviator” hosted its first major event, the Aviator Cup—a 3×3 and 1×1 basketball tournament that brought together 150 attendees, 100 of whom were active competitors.
