Given the demanding conditions of wartime, engaging in physical activity takes on paramount importance as a critical factor in enhancing and preserving physiological and psychological health. Consequently, during this academic year, efforts focused on engaging maximum student involvement in physical culture and sports.

Traditionally, at the beginning of the academic year, a gala dedicated to the International Day of Student Sport is organized, where the finest lecturers, university employees, and student-athletes are honored with certificates, citations from the Rector, and valuable gifts.

Throughout the academic year, SNAU students participate in a wide array of tournaments, including volleyball, beach volleyball, individual table tennis championships for men and women, badminton, futsal, and strength sports. With the steadfast support of the Rector, the SNAU Rector’s Cup is conducted annually among lecturers and staff members of SNAU and its branch structures (specialized colleges). The SNAU Rector’s Cup is also held for students across both the main campus and its regional constituent colleges, featuring competitions in volleyball, darts, armlifting, table tennis, and chess.
